Harvestfest, an annual Rockport event, is just around the corner. Rockport student Carson Reilly said about the festival “I love Harvestfest in Rockport every year. I love going to town events, because I love seeing people, doing the activities and seeing our beautiful town.”

This year’s Harvestfest is Saturday, October 13. There will be local food vendors, music, hayrides, activities, and more. Most of the activities take place Downtown Rockport and T-Wharf.

Local food will include fresh lobster, chowder, locally grown produce, wood-fired pizza and more. Cooking demonstrations will be another fun activity taking place during the day. Stop by The American BBQ tent and try some of our favorite cornbread.

Do you like music? You will be able to choose from bluegrass, jazz, folk, and indie rock. “I can’t wait to see my favorite local musicians,” Carson added.

More volunteers are still needed, so if you are interested, just go to the Rockport Exchange Facebook page. For more information on Harvestfest click here.
