Last Saturday, Rockport Green Team members attended the Cape Ann Sustainability Fair at O’Maley Middle School in Gloucester, hosted by Town Green 2025. Vendors and organizations from around the state were present to raise awareness about climate change and other environmental issues. Various solar companies, nonprofits, and other environmentally active groups were there, including Rockport’s Seaside Sustainability and the regional Relay Power. The Green Team exhibited information on circular economics and food sustainability, in an effort to help raise awareness of ideas central to sustainability. Nathaniel Stinnett was the keynote speaker and addressed the need for environmentalists to vote. The Green Team will be presenting the same posters at the Harvestfest in Rockport on Saturday the 13th of October.
