To commemorate seniors Faithe Shatford, captain Anya Fulmer, Nina McCloy, Molly Twombly and captain Kalyn Koller’s last ever home basketball game, Coach Mike Wilson started the dynamic five. Though Kalyn could not fully participate in the game due to an injury, the coaches had arranged a tip off to occur where she could experience starting one last time. After being applauded off the court, freshman forward Kylie Schrock subbed in to take over. Within the first quarter, the visiting Georgetown team took the lead. Though they fought hard, the Vikings could not manage to catch the lead and devastatingly lost. Staying positive, senior Molly Twombly obtained 2 points, while Nina McCloy acquired 7. Other scorers Zoe Lucido, Holly Gagnon and Lauren Ryan all scored 2 points, followed by Kylie Schrock with 9 and Taylor Frost with 5. Through hard work and positivity, the girls stayed optimistic and celebrated their last home game together as a team.
