I have more exciting news from Rockport High School Drama!  We are extremely proud of our 34 cast and crew members who advanced to the final round of the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild for the second time ever, and the first time since 2002 with our original work “Leave the Lights On”.
Our show was one of two chosen to advance (the other school at our site was Peabody with their show “Red Speedo”).
Several of our students were recognized.  Elowyn Akers won for her role as “Child”; Hattie Mae Rich won for her role as “Dark Force”.  Chloe Beaulieu and Zachary Fuller were recognized for their work in costumes, and Clara Mazo was recognized for her music composition and sound (which was made possible by a team of people including Will Vincent who helped with music composition, production and editing as well as Clara Collins, and Zachary Fuller who were live players).
We will perform at the Back Bay Center Events Center on Friday, March 29th @ 3:00 p.m.  Tickets for the event can be purchased through the METG website.
