From March 7 through March 9, 28 RHS students spent two days and nights in Boston participating in the Massachusetts DECA state competition. Students participated in single and team events, and some had to take difficult tests before leaving for competition. Everyone did extremely well and should be very proud of themselves.

Ali Ketchopolus, Maggie Clary, and Walker Knowles gave up an amazing fight during Quiz Bowl, coming in second place in the entire state.

Chloe Beaulieu recieved a 3rd place overall score in her category for the marketing test she had to take, and then finished 3rd place overall in her entire category, clenching her spot at the international competition in Orlando, Florida.

Rockport DECA also recieved 5 spots for Leadership Academies at internationals. Eliza Nugent, Jordan Anzivino, Tayler Aylward, Sydney Champagne, and Rachael Young will be participating in this Leadership Academy and will be at internationals to cheer on Chloe.

Congratulations to all who competed, and good luck at ICDC!
