With a strong start to the season, the varsity girls field hockey team played their first game against Hamilton-Wenham. Playing with determination and intensity, the team held Hamilton to a 0-0 tie. For their second game against Amesbury, the girls played a hard fought game and ended up with a 1-0 win, with the goal scored by senior captain Colleen Murphy. As they rested up for a day, they prepared for their third game against Georgetown. Starting off with a well earned lead, junior Tess Campbell scores the teams first and only goal which led to their 1-0 win. Though it is still early in the season, the team looks well organized and ready for more upcoming games!
